Freaky speaker.

I can’t look at a picture of Linda Blair in her full make-up for The Exorcist without getting scared. I’m telling you that so you appreciate what I nice person I am for putting this up for you all. I don’t care what anybody says, or how many nuffys laugh at the special effect, The Exorcist is one of the scariest films of all time.

Anybody who has seen William Friedkin’s masterpiece would obviously be aware that Linda Blair, who was just a girl at the time, did not do her own voice when her character was possessed by the demon Pazuzu. That honour went to the creepily named Mercedes McCambridge, who also has a pretty creepy face.

This video was shared by the kindly folk over at Rope of Silicon. I don’t know how they managed to get this clip, but it sure creeps the hell out of me no matter who’s voice is coming out of that fucked up mouth.
