The book details the 1996 Everest disaster, in which a group of climbers heading to the summit were hit by an enormous storm. What makes the book so incredible is that Krakauer himself was one of those climbers, so is not only able to relate the event first hand but is able to do it in an exceedingly readable way because writing be what him for a livin’ doin.’ Everest is based on that book and our enthusiasm for Into Thin Air coupled with this very impressive trailers means that it’s one our most anticipated films of 2015. Get that into your heads.
