A particularly filmy phrase.

don't die on me

There’s something distinctly cinematic about the phrase “Don’t die on me” in the sense that really you only ever hear it in films. It’s a film quirk, like how everybody in movies always seem to watch black and white cartoons or old comedy shows from the 1950 or how bedsheets are L-shaped so that the woman’s torso is covered but the man’s is not. Anyway, check out this supercut of all the “Don’t die on me’s” in film. All? Well they only went and bloody left out Jim Carrey yelling out “Don’t go dying on me!” in Dumb and Dumber.
