KoRn’s ‘Freak on a Leash’ (dir. Todd McFarlane)

When I was in high school I used to be a metal head. I lot has changed since then, and my love of metal is a distant memory. I’ll always however, have a soft spot for KoRn’s ‘Freak on a Leash’, a song I once believed to be the greatest in the world. The music video for Freak on a Leash was directed by Todd McFarlane, mostly known for his work in comics (particularly Spawn). The music video combines animation and live action footage, but most importantly it shows a whole lot of things being smashes in slow motion. It won MTV Video Music Awards for Best Editing and Best Rock Editing and a Grammy for Best Short Form Music Video.
