Gone Girl, starring the director of, umm…Gone Baby Gone.
“Man of my dreams, this man of mine may kill me.”
You don’t know what you’ve got ‘til it’s…Gone Girl’s second trailer was released on Tuesday, with the appearance of Neil Patrick Harris as Desi Collings for the first time along with some chilling voice over narrations and diary entry flashbacks. The entire trailer is ominous and dark in tone on par with the novel and the recent promotional posters. Check out the previously released teaser trailer for the film with a creepy rendition of the Charles Aznavour song “She” performed by Richard Butler.
“With his wife’s disappearance having become the focus of an intense media circus, a man sees the spotlight turned on him when it’s suspected that he may not be innocent.”
Gone Girl is directed by David Fincher (Fight Club, Seven, The Social Network), his first feature film since Girl With The Dragon Tattoo in 2011. The film will also feature an alternate ending to that of the novel, both penned by author Gillian Flynn. The film stars Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Neil Patrick Harris, Emily Ratajkowski and Tyler Perry. It is set for release in Australia on October 3, 2014.
