It was a normal night when the team from The ReelGood Podcast Joon Ho Bong’s new film Parasite. It remained a normal night for the duration of the night. The only noteworthy occurrence, other than the recording of the podcast episode about Parasite, was the drinking of beer and wine and eating of chips as a celebration of Derek writing his 200th review for ReelGood. For those playing at home, the review in question was written a few weeks ago but there’s something to be said for delayed celebration gratification.

Parasite was recently award the Palme d’Or, which is a big one. If you’re having trouble gauging just exactly what a big one it is, then perhaps known that films like Apocalypse Now and Pulp Fiction were also awarded the Palme d’Or. Big one.
