kogonada is proving one of the more interesting Vimeo users out there. He’s responsible for a number of videos that we’ve put up on our Awesome Film Videos section, including the recent look at the art behind the Criterion Collection. Kogonada was commissioned by Sight and Sound to make a video essay that explored what different visions would emerge if you put Vittorio De Sica, the director of The Bicycle Thieves against David O. Selznick, the producer of Gone with the Wind on the same movie material?
