Computer generated embarrassments. 

‘Ah, CGI. Drunk with yer power be we.’….that is something that we presume a lot of Hollywood filmmakers say on a regular basis, so used is the tool of computer imagery as a crutch in filmmaking. It’s all fun and game until The Rock gets turned into a giant lobster. Special Effects can be mind-blowing…and then there are the ones in this little video, which dated before the even hit the silver screen. The special effects giveth but the special effects can also taketh away. It brings back quite a few painful memories, although we think the Deep Blue Sea entry ought to get the benefit of the doubt considering how great that particular scene is in every other regard.
