It’s been a while. Those are the words that you’re thinking. It’s been a while. Don’t pretend you’re not thinking it, because who would you pretend to? And we know that you’re thinking them, so you can’t pretend to us. Besides, we’re a website, and pretending to a website is dumb.

But you’re right to think those words, because it has been a while. Our last podcast episode was about a little known film called 2001: A Space Odyssey. Blakey couldn’t even make it to that one because he was swanning about Europe like he owned the place or something. No one owns Europe. Perhaps the people own Europe, but only metaphorically. The episode before that was all about Deadpool 2, and that seems like it was light years ago. Light years? Let’s segue into the next paragraph.

first man

Speaking of light years, some people do speaking of light years when it comes to space travel. Our new episode of The ReelGood Podcast (recorded last night if you can believe it) is about a film that is about space travel. That film is Damien Chazelle’s First Man.

“A look at the life of the astronaut, Neil Armstrong, and the legendary space mission that led him to become the first man to walk on the Moon on July 20, 1969.”

Blakey is back. Derek never left. John never goes anywhere. And thankfully, their movements managed to syncronise for another fateful night to record the greatest podcast episode ever recorded, and we’re including shit like Serial, This American Life and Cum Town in that claim. Enjoy.
