Who are we to dismiss a good, old fashioned mash-up? Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining has been the subject of some pretty incredible internet work over the years. ‘The Grand Overlook Hotel’, edited by YouTube user Steve Ramsden is no exception, combining The Shining with Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel. While Anderson’s film is a fun filled romp through a nostalgia-tinted Europe, Kubrick’s is about a writer-cum-psychopathic family murderer. So yeah, different.
