For as long as there have been movies, there have been stunts. Ever managed to check out Buster Keaton’s The General? Stop reading this damn post and check it out right now. Stunts are great. Wowee, how great is that stunt in Raiders of the Lost Ark when Indiana Jones is dragged along the road by the whip connected to the back of that truck? Or that stunt at the start of Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation when Tom Cruise grips onto the side of that plane as it takes off. Tom Cruise did that for real. Boss.

With the help of Honda and All4, Channel 4’s on-demand channel in the England, stuntman Damien Walters decided to bring some of cinema’s most iconic stunts to life again in this video, entitled The Evolution of Stunts.

Walters has performed stunts in a whole heaps of great flicks, including Captain America: The First AvengerKick-AssSkyfall as well as the upcoming Justin Kurzel flick Assassin’s Creed. We reckon he’ll probably get more work now that this video has landed on the internetweb.

For anyone interested, this video below will give you a bit of insight into how Walters and the filmmaking team behind the video put it all together.
