There’s this hashtag that roams Instagram on Wednesdays: #WomanCrushWednesday. And so I thought I’d take the fine ladies of the on-screen world that have captured my heart this week and share them in true #WomanCrushWednesday fashion. Some may be regular favourites, some may come as a bit of a surprise. However, I hope all will somehow get your #womancrushwednesday juices flowing. So who are my lady-crushes this Wednesday?
EMELIA CLARKE as KHALEESI | Game of Thrones
Ok, so I have a confession. I am only now watching season 3 of Game of Thrones. I know, I know. Cut me some slack, though, I was traveling whilst it was airing and it just… ugh… I’m sorry.
Anyways
Season 3. Episode 4. Khaleesi, girl, you make me question my sexuality in so many ways. Even though I knew what was happening (I’ve read the books), I was still left squealing and clapping like a crazy person. My love for Khaleesi started on the pages of the series, but after that scene in the show, I was just lady crushing all over the place. Khaleesi darling, I love you and all of your badass ways
ZOOEY DESCHANEL
#womancrushwednesday #womancrushthursday #womancrushfriday #womancrushsaturday #womancrushsunday #womancrushmonday #womancrushtuesday. I love you.
JENNIFER LAWRENCE
I didn’t want to like this girl. I mean, everyone loves her. LOVES her. She’s very… what are the words I’m looking for here… human. She’s very human. I mean, quite a goo-looking human, but she just seems like a real human.
I recently read an interview with her where she went on to talk about how her favourite drink is Budweiser. BUDWEISER?! How average of you, Jen. I love it. Anyways, more and more this girl just proves to me how cool she really is. I went from not wanting to like her to (not-so) secretly wanting to be her best friend.
MICHELLE DOCKERY as LADY MARY CRAWLEY | Downton Abbey
As I catch up on my DA Season 4, I fall more and more in love with Lady Mary Crawley. She’s so sassy, so frisky, and so damn gorgeous. I like her. I like her a lot.
EVANGELINE LILLY as TAURIEL | The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
I went to see the Hobbit again, and though I struggle with the concept of an elf and a dwarf, I still can’t help but love Tauriel in this Hobbit sequel. Some may disagree with me, but you gotta admit, the girl’s a babe.
That’s who’s on my list this week. Who made your #WomanCrushWednesday list?
